Holland Scholarship
Netherlands · Dutch Ministry of Education & Dutch universities · Bachelor's & Master's
A one-time grant for students from outside the EEA starting their first year at a participating Dutch university.
Why our counselors picked it
- One-off grant in your first year
- Offered by many Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences
- Apply through the university you're admitted to
Funded by: Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with participating institutions
What it pays for
EUR 5,000, paid once in the first year towards study costs. It is explicitly not a full-tuition scholarship, so the institutional tuition fee must still be paid in full.
Who can apply
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree
Application window
No central deadline: each participating institution sets it. The 2026/27 round opened on 1 November 2025, so the next round is expected to open around November 2026
For Bangladeshi applicants: Open to non-EEA nationals applying to a full-time bachelor's or master's at a participating institution, and Bangladesh qualifies on nationality grounds. You request it in the same university application, so the institutional deadline is the one that counts.
