What it pays for
Tuition fees plus a monthly living allowance. MOHE’s published MIS benefit is RM1,500 per month; travel is not covered, so confirm the current year’s allowance before you budget on it.

For Bangladeshi applicants: Bangladesh is eligible, since the 2026 call lists Commonwealth countries among the recipient countries. It is for full-time master’s and PhD study, by coursework or research, and you cannot take paid employment during the award, your research must be carried out in Malaysia, and you cannot hold another sponsorship at the same time.
