Ongoing Scholarships

• Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) — Type A (Embassy/Designated Authority)

  Tuition waiver, free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy, monthly stipend (CNY 2,500 undergraduate / 3,000 master's / 3,500 doctoral), comprehensive medical insurance. Does not include international airfare.

• Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) — Type B (University Program)

  Same as Type A: tuition waiver, accommodation subsidy, monthly stipend, comprehensive medical insurance. Does not include international airfare.

• University-Specific International Student Scholarships

  Range from partial tuition reduction to full packages including tuition waiver, accommodation subsidy, and monthly stipend (often matching or topping up CSC rates).

• GREAT Scholarships Bangladesh

  A minimum of GBP 10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate taught course. Living costs, the visa and travel are not covered.

• UKRI and university-funded PhD studentships

  A tax-free stipend of at least GBP 21,805 a year in 2026/27 (GBP 23,805 in London) plus tuition fees, usually for three and a half to four years. UKRI pays fees at the home rate, so check that the university waives the international fee difference.

• UK university international scholarships

  Tuition-fee reductions, typically GBP 2,000-10,000 or 20-50% of the first year's fees, and sometimes for every year of a Bachelor's. A few awards for exceptional students cover full tuition.

• Invest Your Talent in Italy (IYT)

  EUR 10,800 per year paid in quarterly instalments, plus exemption from enrolment fees and university contributions. You still pay the regional right-to-study tax, stamp duty, insurance and health insurance, and travel and accommodation are not covered.

• MAECI scholarships

  EUR 10,800 in total for a 9-month course, paid in quarterly instalments with a larger first payment, plus exemption from tuition fees. Regional right-to-study tax and stamp duty remain payable.

• Erasmus Mundus joint master’s programmes

  Tuition, a monthly stipend, travel support and a funded placement, in the combination set by each consortium.

• Graduate Research Assistantship (RA)

  Full tuition waiver plus monthly stipend in exchange for 15–20 hours of research work per week.

• University Graduate Fellowships

  Full or partial tuition waiver, often with a stipend and sometimes a research/travel allowance.

• International Undergraduate Scholarships

  Tuition reduction ranging from partial to significant awards; rarely covers all living costs.

• MEXT Scholarship — University Recommendation (Special Program/Special Selection)

  Full MEXT funding including monthly stipend, tuition fees waived, round-trip economy airfare.

• MEXT Scholarship — University Recommendation (General scheme)

  Monthly stipend, tuition/matriculation fees waived, round-trip economy airfare.

• JASSO Scholarship for Study in Japan

  Monthly stipend JPY 48,000 for graduate students (master's/doctoral/research students) and JPY 30,000 for Japanese language institution students. Paid for up to 12 months (April–March) or 6 months (October–March).
